Bronwyn Newport Breaks Down Relationship with Britani Bateman Today: "I Do Feel for Her"
Bronwyn admitted she and Britani didn't go into RHOSLC as allies while appearing on Bravo Bravo F'ing Bravo with Kate Chastain.
Bronwyn Newport has been building friendships on Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, but that doesn't mean she's getting along with everyone, including fellow new face Britani Bateman.
The first-season snowflake holder recently joined Summer House’s Kyle Cooke and Bravo superfan Michael Rapaport on Bravo Bravo F’ing Bravo with Kate Chastain, a new live, interactive Bravo Insider original series. Bronwyn admitted on the show that that though she and Britani came to RHOSLC Season 5 as newbies, they clashed pretty quickly.

Discussion of Britani came after host Kate Chastain took a live poll, asking viewers to vote on which Bravo newbie they wanted to discuss, between Britani, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Jennifer Tilly, and The Real Housewives of New York City’s Rebecca Minkoff.
It was Britani for the win.
“Britani and I have struggled,” Bronwyn admitted. “We don’t see eye to eye on anything. Even as newbies, we were not like, ‘Well, it should be you and I against the rest of the group.’ No, no, I let her fend for herself, she let me fend for myself.”
Rapaport, however, made note that Bronwyn and Britani were “sophisticated newbies," a compliment Bronwyn appreciated.
Casey, a live caller from New Jersey, was also happy to discuss Britani, wanting to talk more about her “high body count hair” and keeping track of her boyfriends, as you can see in the clip above.
“Look, Britani and I came on together. I do feel for her; it is a tough group to initiate yourself into and become friends with, and it’s hard,” said Bronwyn. “There were so many times we’d be sitting there having dinner, doing things, and I’d just be fascinated by what the ladies were saying, and then if you’re not careful, you’re gonna take a shot from the side. Like, you’ve gotta be clocked at these dinners, you gotta know who’s talking about what, you have to be on it.”
Britani and Bronwyn's drama has played out on RHOSLC Season 5, with the two having an awkward encounter in the premiere episode, as Britani told Bronwyn that she loved her "costume" in reference to her heart-shaped Saint Laurent coat, which Bronwyn found insulting. Ever since, the two have traded jabs.
