Who Is Tamra Judge’s Daughter Sophia Barney? Meet the RHOC Kid Popping Up on Season 18
Sophia Barney is once again appearing on RHOC after a decade-long hiatus.
It's been several years since viewers first met Tamra Judge's youngest daughter, 18-year-old Sophia Barney, on The Real Housewives of Orange County, but she made her return to screens everywhere during the Season 18 premiere on July 11.
Sophia's cameo came as she and her mom were driving around southern California, en route to a tattoo appointment.
"I'm shocked you're doing this because of your fear of needles," Tamra told her baby, who looked extra cool in a leather jacket with her hair dyed dark and eyeliner expertly winged. "What if you meet a guy and he's like, 'I don't like tattoos on the arms?'"
Sophia's response? "I don't give a f-ck."
Later, at the tattoo parlor, Sophia opted for a pretty, vintage-looking moon on her arm. "Both her brothers are covered in tattoos. At first it bothered me, and now, I don't know, I really want my kids to be able to express themselves as they want to," Tamra told the tattoo artist.

Who Is Sophia Barney?
Born in 2005, Sophia Barney is the youngest daughter of Tamra and Simon Barney. She has two full siblings, Sidney and Spencer, and a half-brother, Ryan Vieth.
In June 2023, Tamra told BravoTV.com that Sophia had just hit a big milestone. “Sophia just graduated high school last week. [I’m] super excited about that,” she shared. “My last baby has graduated, so it’s kind of sad, but it’s exciting.”
Sophia Barney's Music Career
As some fans know, Sophia is also a talented musician. In 2018, she released a dreamy pop song called "Break Like Ice" under the name Feeuh. Her first song, which she released in eighth grade, was called "Sketchers."
Why Couldn't Tamra Judge's Daughter Sophia Barney Appear on RHOC?
Like her older brother, Spencer, Sophia had to wait until she turned 18 and was able to sign a contract to appear on RHOC. Prior to that, her father wasn't keen on her making reality TV appearances.
"You haven't seen Sophia in over 10 years because her dad would not sign the agreement to allow her to film," Tamra explained in a Season 18, Episode 1 confessional. "She's been living with me this entire time, and she's now 18 and getting ready to go to college. It's so funny, because Sophia is so chill. She's just a very kind, kind soul. Clearly, I'm not like that. She's such a good kid, I don't know where the hell it came from."
Who Is Sophia Barney's Dad, Simon Barney?
You might remember Sophia's father and Tamra's ex-husband Simon from early seasons of RHOC (Tamra joined the show in Season 3 and the pair got divorced following Season 5). After Tamra was "put on pause" from the show in 2020, Simon was diagnosed with stage 3 throat cancer.
The last we heard, during one of Tamra's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show appearances in February 2022, Simon was still "fighting the fight." According to his Instagram account, he's been in high spirits. In October 2023, he even rocked a great Pirates of the Caribbean-themed Halloween costume.
