Who is Bozoma Saint John?

Bozoma, 47, moved from Ghana to Colorado at the age of 12, and graduated from Wesleyan University in 1999. According to her website, Boz has served as the Global CMO of Netflix; the CMO of Endeavor; the CBO of Uber; the Head of Marketing at Apple Music and iTunes; and the Head of Music and Entertainment Marketing at Pepsi Co.

In addition to being named ForbesMost Influential CMO in 2021, Bozoma is also an author and created The Bad Ass Workshop, which strives to empower women by expanding their "boundaries for career, health and wellness, lifestyle, relationships, goals and so much more."

Is Bozoma Saint John married?

Bozoma married her husband Peter Saint John on June 21, 2003. They first met "in the cafeteria of the building we both worked in in New York," she wrote on Instagram in 2019. "I was ordering breakfast, and, admittedly, taking my time. He was impatient and also trying to figure out a way to get my attention. He yelled out from the back of the line, 'You look like royalty, but you don't own this place. Hurry up and order!' Well...he succeeded in getting my attention and royally pissing me off. So it didn't help his cause when he tried to ask me out for consecutive days after that."

Bozoma and Peter were together for 10 years before he was diagnosed with cancer in May 2013. Following his diagnosis, Peter went through "months" of chemotherapy but was ultimately told he "had a few weeks to live," according to Joy Online.

Peter later died in December 2013. "We had so many conversations, which I'm so thankful for," Bozoma said during her May 2023 Talks at Google. "I am thankful. I'm thankful for the moments to talk about life...life becomes very clear when we know the end is coming."

Does Bozoma Saint John have kids?

Bozoma is the mom to one child — a soon-to-be-15-year-old daughter named Lael — whom she welcomed with her late husband, Peter.

Before having Lael, Bozoma had been pregnant with a daughter, but at the six-and-a-half month mark, she experienced preeclampsia and lost her child prematurely. In her book, The Urgent Life: My Story of Love, Loss, and Survival, Bozoma detailed her experience with having to be induced and deliver her stillborn daughter, who she and Peter named Eve. "Years later, Peter looked at me from his own hospital bed and told me not to worry. 'I'll go to heaven and take care of Eve, while you stay here and take care of Lael,'" Bozoma wrote in her memoir.

She refers to Lael as her rainbow baby. "I wished on a star for my rainbow baby...and God delivered her," Bozoma wrote in an Instagram post on Mother's Day this year. "So every time I say her name LA - EL, it's a biblical reminder in Hebrew that she belongs to God...and I smile, laugh and praise in full joy. Here's to the mothers of babies on Earth and in Heaven."

Several Real Housewives cast members took to the comments of the post to share their excitement for her.

"Welcome," Garcelle commented.

"Congrats Boz," The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Cynthia Bailey added. "I love this for you queen!"

"Yes m'am!," Sutton wrote.
