Everything You Need to Know About the Husbands Seen on Dancing Queens
With wives as the stars on the dance floor, the husbands of Dancing Queens share their feelings on the time and expenses put into the sport.
The women of Bravo’s new series Dancing Queens are shining in the ballroom spotlight, but not without the support of the husbands in their lives. Ballroom dancing is a competitive, expensive, and time-consuming sport, something Nigel Biggs knows all too well.
Who Is Leonie Biggs' Husband, Nigel Biggs?
Dancer Leonie Bigg’s husband is first introduced in the series premiere drinking a cup of coffee very early in the morning with his wife. Leonie walked Nigel through her schedule, prompting him to comment on how busy she is.
“I know I asked you to take up a hobby,” Nigel said to Leonie in the premiere. “Do you think that maybe you’ve taken it just a little too far?”

But as Nigel lamented how expensive Leonie’s “hobby” is, he agreed it’s better than her getting a therapist.
Leonie and Nigel live in Haworth, New Jersey with their 6-year-old daughter, Charlotte. Leonie described her high-powered career in finance in New York City during the premiere, and as it turns out, she’s also married to a man with a high-powered career.
Nigel is a Cloud and Digital Transformation Leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), according to his LinkedIn profile, where he’s worked since 2008. He describes himself on his profile as having 15+ years of international experience in leading complex financial services business and digital transformation engagements for Fortune 500 companies.
Who Is Sabrina Strasser's Husband, Ronnie Strasser?
Ambition runs in the blood of the dancers and their families, and dancer Sabrina Strasser and her husband, Ronnie, are no exception.
Sabrina said in the premiere Ronnie was 36 when she met him at the age of 19, as she worked for his company, Phantom Developments.
Ronnie lists himself on his LinkedIn profile as the president of the Toronto-based company since 1983. The company has “played a key role in numerous prestigious projects in the Greater Toronto Area in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors” according to its website, and says its first condominium project was “one of the most successful selling condominiums in the early 1990s.”
The Phantom website notes the company has been “family run since inception.”
Ronnie also attended Harvard Business School in the late ‘90s, according to his LinkedIn.
Sabrina and Ronnie share a 12-year-old daughter, Abigail, and 10-year-old daughter, Chloe, who were introduced in the premiere.
As the family sat down to dinner, Ronnie described the difficulty of being married to someone who competes in ballroom dancing and has a pro partner.
“I think every relationship boils down to trust,” Ronnie said in the premiere. “I trust you as a wife. I trust you as a person. Because if I didn’t, I couldn’t stand a guy grabbing your ass and boobs every day. He touches you more than I do. You’re lucky I’m not the jealous type.”
Still, Ronnie seems to be supportive of his wife’s dancing, appearing in a photo with her at the Elite Dance Showcase on April 30 on Instagram. Sabrina also posted a photo of the two celebrating their 15th anniversary on her Instagram in January.
Is Colette Marotto Married?
Colette has described herself as a single mom in the show, and has spoken at length in Dancing Queens about her relationship with her son, Kelvin.
Watch Leonie, Sabrina, Colette Marotto, Donie Burch, Gaelle Benchetrit and Pooja Mehta in new episodes of Dancing Queens on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo or and the next day on Peacock.
