Whitney Rose Just Spiced Up Her Look with a Dramatic Hair Change: "Redhead Reveal"
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member debuted a smoldering new hair color for a special reason.
Whitney Rose just stopped us in our tracks with a dramatically different hair change.
On the January 8 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member pulled up to the Clubhouse in a dazzling silver turtleneck mini dress and silver heels. Also a part of her look? A brand new, coppery-red blunt bob — a distinct departure from her previous sandy blonde.
"Redhead reveal," read the caption of a video on WWHL Instagram account, certainly giving us a dramatic debut.
During her appearance on WWHL, host Andy Cohen questioned Whitney about her newly colored tresses. "And you're doing this because...?" he asked.
"To support my daughter, who's a redhead," Whitney stated, referring to her teenage daughter, Bobbie Rose. "And all the redhead teenagers out there who get bullied daily. I'm proving a point that when I say, 'Redheads are beautiful,' I mean it."
Whitney Rose's past hair looks
This is the first time we've seen Whitney make such a dramatic, all-over color change to her hair. Though the PRISM jewelry co-founder has kept her hair hue in the blonde zone, she's sometimes changed things up with a tonally darker and longer look.
Additionally, for the RHOSLC Season 4 reunion, Whitney opted for a high ponytail style with longer extensions.
Whitney Rose's update on her daughter, Bobbie Rose
In addition to supporting her and Justin Rose's daughter, Bobbie, with her hair change, Whitney recently opened up about how the teen has been doing lately after overcoming a concerning health scare.
"Bobbie had a recent health scare, she's doing so much better," Whitney exclusively told The Daily Dish in November 2024 after her daughter spent time in the ICU from asthma exacerbation. "And I'm just really loving this next phase and embracing teenage years with Bobbie. She's a freshman in high school, and Brooks [Rose] is in the sixth grade, so my babies are growing up."
Whitney went on to share more about her journey as a mother during our conversation (in addition to being a mom to Bobbie Rose and son Brooks, Whitney is also a stepmom to Justin's three kids from his first marriage).
"Life, honestly, is going so well right now. Everyone's thriving. Justin and I are doing great; our family is amazing," she stated. "We have such a great bond within the four of us, and then with my stepkids and their wives, and, you know, I'm a grandma through my stepson, so our family is really cool."
"I feel really blessed and lucky to have our family unit," she concluded.
