Where Did The Real Housewives of New Jersey Cast Go to College?
Find out which colleges Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and the rest of the RHONJ ladies attended before they were Real Housewives.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast and friends may school us week after week about the art of being dramatic, but long before the Garden State crew was sharing their lives with the world, they were hard at work on their degrees.
Many of the RHONJ cast members and friends were spending time in colleges and universities studying up on a number of subjects that they would then use in their careers both before Bravo and even as they found fame as reality stars.
Teresa Giudice
Teresa Giudice graduated from Berkeley College with a degree in fashion marketing and management. She later worked for Macy's as an associate buyer, per her Wikipedia.
Melissa Gorga
Melissa Gorga received her Bachelor of Arts from New Jersey City University, where she studied elementary education (and she even shared a photo of her diploma in the past).
Margaret Josephs
Margaret Josephs earned a degree in marketing and fashion design from Fashion Institute of Technology. Before starting her career as an entrepreneur, she also worked as a dress designer at New York's Garment Center.
Dolores Catania
Dolores Catania spent her formative years not in a classroom but building a colorful career: “On a nontraditional road to fame, Dolores has been a waitress, shampoo girl and a surgical assistant, but it was working in the prison system that made her passionate about helping the less fortunate, especially families suffering in unfair circumstances.”
You can hear more about her many careers above!
Jennifer Aydin
Jennifer Aydin earned her business degree at Hofstra University and graduated in 2000. She briefly opened her own jewelry store but closed it following her engagement to Dr. Bill Aydin in 2001, according to her bio.
Rachel Fuda
Per her official bio, Rachel Fuda is a college graduate with dual degrees. She now works full-time for her and husband John Fuda’s business, Valet King. They are both heavily involved in John’s family's company, Fuda Tile.
Danielle Cabral
According to LinkedIn, Danielle Cabral attended Emerson College and earned her Bachelor’s Degree. She also has worked behind the scenes in TV and media during her college days and recently looked back on that time in her life as well as her career evolution.
She wrote on Instagram: “In 2006, when I was a junior in college, I interned at NBC studios in the press and public relations department working with such phenomenal talent. I took a bus 2 hours in and 2 hours home everyday...working for FREE!! I wanted so badly to be an entertainment publicist. Today, 17 years later, I went back in to talk all things ‘press & public relations’ but on the other side of it, as the talent.”
Jackie Goldschneider
According to her publisher, Jackie Goldschneider graduated magna cum laude from Boston University. From there, she received her Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law. She later passed the New York State Bar Exam and practiced law in New York City for a number of years.
Jennifer Fessler
Jennifer Fessler studied at Boston University for two years and then later received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She graduated in 1990.
