What Does Luis D. Ortiz Do for a Living Now That He's Left Real Estate?
Fredrik Eklund provides some insight into the Million Dollar Listing New York alum's life after real estate.
Since Luis D. Ortiz left real estate to find his true calling in life, the Million Dollar Listing New York alum has been traveling the world and sharing all of his adventures for all of us to see on Instagram. Why, Luis has made stops in California, New York, Australia, London, and Bali in just 2018 alone, after all.
We're not the only ones who love keeping tabs on Luis' whereabouts via social media. "My mom is obsessed with following Luis on Instagram," Andy Cohen told Fredrik Eklund during the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show Tuesday night (clip above). "She doesn't understand where he gets his money to be traveling so much."
Since Fredrik still keeps in touch with Luis today, Andy wondered if the MDLNY agent could provide any insight into his current career since he famously left real estate behind at the end of Season 5. Press play on the above video to have Fredrik fill you in on Luis' new globetrotting lifestyle.
Luis returned to MDLNY in Season 6 to tell Fredrik and Ryan Serhant that he was moving to Paris. But when the MDLNY agents visited their ami in the season finale, Luis didn't seem so sure that the City of Lights was the right place for him. Luis shared on Instagram in January that he was moving to Los Angeles to explore "creating stories and ideas to produce and direct."
Ryan praised Luis' bravery in leaving his old life behind in order to pursue his real passion in life. "Luis is living the life. Luis is out there. We follow him on social, he's all over the world, like every other day, he posts another photo from somewhere else in the world. And so, he's a real frequent flyer, that one. He's all over the place," Ryan told The Daily Dish in May. "But I think that's what he wanted to do. He just wanted to travel, see the world, live life, and he's living it. And I give him a lot of credit for actually doing it because a lot of people talk about doing that kind of lifestyle all the time, and it can be very expensive. But he's figured out how to do it and how to be happy doing it. So it's great."
Well, things are also going pretty great for the MDLNY guys back in the Big Apple Mondays at 10/9c. See what's in store for these high-powered Manhattanites this season, below.
