We All Might Want to Learn a Lesson From Jennifer Lawrence About the Perils of Not Believing in Crystals
It's another one of those times when you should just listen to Spencer Pratt, especially when it comes to home decor.
Jennifer Lawrence is talking about life, love, movies — and what happens when you don't necessarily believe in otherworldly influences.
She sat for an interview for the September cover of Vogue in a rental house and explained why she hadn't opened her own home for the session.
“When I first moved in, the house was crystalled out—crystals everywhere, and geodes,” she told the publication. “And I was like, ‘Please get rid of these; I don’t want people to come over here and think I’m a crystal person.’ Not that there’s anything wrong with that!”
Her interview drew ire from known crystal-ologist and father-to-be Spencer Pratt.
Lawrence told Vogue that everyone told her that the crystals couldn't just be moved by anyone; they'd have to be moved by the "crystal lady" who placed them in the house. She didn't listen, though.
“I just had all the crystals yanked out. Sold them. And then my f***ing house flooded.”
According to E! News, Lawrence may have actually met the "crystal lady" while she was in the process of buying her home; the five-bedroom house, which Lawrence purchased for $8.225 million in 2014, previously belonged to Jessica Simpson.
