The Millionaire Matchmaker isn't engaged... yet.
Last night in the Clubhouse, Patti set the record straight. You can stop checking the mailbox for a wedding invite. She is not engaged. What she's wearing on her finger is a promise ring by her favorite jewelry designer David Yurman.
"David (Krause) surprised me on Christmas," our resident matchmaker told Andy. The pair have been living together for a year and Patti seems to have finally met her match. When Andy asked David, who was manning the bar, if he was intimidated by his gal he answered no. David very sweetly said about their coupling, "There's nothing better in the whole world." Everyone together, "Awww."
They may not be engaged yet, but we do know when they do make the leap, that -- as Kim Zolciak might put it -- the ring won't mean a thing. (Or, as big a thing as one might think.) When a caller asked relationship advice, the blunt Millionaire matchmaker had some wise words about engagement rings.
"It's about the quality of the relationship. Diamonds do not define how well the marriage is going to last."
