Vicki Gunvalson Shares a Rare Update on Her Son, Michael Wolfsmith
RHOC alum Vicki Gunvalson just celebrated a major milestone for her "incredible son."
The Real Housewives of Orange County fans may remember when Vicki Gunvalson surprised her son, Michael Wolfsmith, at college — but he's now officially entering into the last year of his thirties.
The mom of two, who also has daughter Briana Culberson, took to her Instagram feed on January 4 to celebrate her eldest's birthday.
"Happy 39th birthday to my son [Michael Wolfsmith]," she wrote alongside a carousel of photos of her travels with her son. "He's my world traveler, the best dog dad to Walter, a food lover, an incredible life insurance specialist and an incredible son."
"I miss you and so proud of you. You’re living your best life and Travelling and seeing the world on your terms. Be safe. You are loved," she concluded in her post, along with hashtags for "my son," "happy 39th birthday," and "how do you slow time down?"
After Vicki shared her post for Michael, a slew of Bravolebrities took to the comments section to wish him a happy birthday.
Fellow RHOC alum Lizzie Rovsek wrote, "Happy Birthday [Michael Wolfsmith]" along with a red balloon emoji, while Gretchen Rossi added, "Happy Birthday to your boy."
Phaedra Parks, who appeared alongside Vicki on Season 2 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, wrote, "Happy birthday Supermom to an awesome son."
What is Vicki Gunvalson's son, Michael Wolfsmith, doing now?
As Vicki shared in the caption of her birthday post, Michael is a "world traveler." It appears as if Michael, who works at Vicki's insurance company, COTO Insurance and Financial Services, spent his big birthday in Europe.
On December 28, Michael posted a photo of him posing in front of the canals of Amsterdam alongside his dog, Walter.
"Obligatory canal shot on 2 hours of sleep," he captioned the post. A few days later, he took another photo with his pup. This time, the two were in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France — and Walter had on a beret.
"Paint me like one of your French girls," he wrote in the caption.
Shortly after he celebrated his 39th birthday, Michael went skiing in Chamonix, France.
"Big France guy," he shared on Instagram alongside a selfie of him hitting the slopes.
As for how he's doing professionally, Vicki shared an update when she appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen back in August 2023. “He’s doing an incredible job,” she said about her son, who is currently the Vice President of Life Insurance. "I want to pass the baton to him and he’s like, 'I’m not ready yet — I don’t want to work as much as you do, but I’ll work."
