Following Vicki Gunvalson’s announcement of her departure from The Real Housewives of Orange County after 14 seasons, Andy Cohen is paying a special tribute to the OG of the OC. The Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host shared a sweet message dedicated to the mom of two, who joined the show during its first season in 2006.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Andy took to Instagram to reflect on his long, shared journey with Vicki, looking back on 14 years of drama-packed seasons and reunions. “I remember the first reunion I did with Vicki Gunvalson,” he wrote alongside a sweet photo of the two of them sharing a tight hug. “Occasionally our eyes would meet as I grilled the other women, and she would wink at me optimistically and effervescently as both of her deep dimples shone. She kept winking at me Year after year, and it always made my heart smile.”

Andy also went on to praise Vicki for her unique personality and character, writing, “Vicki is an original, who remained her authentic self from her Family Van-freakout through her last reunion. It’s so hard to remain exactly who you are after being on television for so long, but Vicki is one of a kind.”

He ended his touching message by showing some gratitude for the RHOC veteran, writing, “Thank you for everything, @vickigunvalson - what a ride. And it’s not over. (This pic is actually from the Season 3 Reunion, and I always really liked it..)”

Vicki confirmed her exit from RHOC on January 23 in a lengthy Instagram message, writing, “I will always be the OG of the OC, but it’s time to say goodbye to The Real Housewives of Orange County.”

The Coto Insurance owner also hinted at what’s coming next, stating she has several “exciting, empowering, and inspirational” projects in the works, including an upcoming podcast titled Whoop it up with Vicki.
