Vicki Gunvalson is unfazed by her recent hot mic moment on Nick Viall's podcast, The Viall Files

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Peacock and the Bravo App.

ICYMI, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum went viral after failing to end her video call with The Bachelor alum on the December 3 episode of his podcast. In the closing moments of the episode, Vicki was heard saying, "That was a favor to Hurrdat [Media]. He’s got seven million views. He has his own network, his own show... I’ve never heard of him."

Vicki also kicked off the episode by telling Nick that he "owe[d]" her for appearing on the podcast, as she had "400 meetings" that day. She also told him that she didn't want to be doing the podcast that day because she was "very, very busy."

Vicki poked fun at both the intro and the hot mic moment on her Instagram feed.

"When you're very, very busy with 400 meetings and don't have time for a podcast interview today," Vicki wrote over a video of her sitting by the pool in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (which is also where she was when she recorded the podcast).

In the caption of her post, Vicki wrote, "Very, very busy! I had to have a laugh after reading all your hysterical comments from my latest mishap on [The Viall Files]. Thank you [Nick Viall] and team for the warm welcome... let's whoop it up in beautiful Puerto Vallarta soon !"

Nick poked fun right back at Vicki in the comments section of the post. "Never change Vikki," he wrote.

She replied, "Never," along with a red heart emoji and a laughing face emoji.

RHOC's Emily Simpson commented, "Classic Victoria," while fellow alum Gretchen Rossi commented a series of crying laughing emojis.

Vicki Gunvalson just bought another property in Puerto Vallarta

Longtime RHOC fans know of Vicki's decades-long affinity for Puerto Vallarta, and she's been a property owner there for quite some time. Vicki finished renovating her condo there in September 2024, and, about a month later, she confirmed that she had purchased another home there.

Unlike her recently renovated digs, Vicki is using her new property (which is actually her third in the area) as a rental opportunity.

"I got notification yesterday my third condo will be delivered to me in about four to six weeks,” Vicki explained on the July 29 episode of her podcast, My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast. “They’re moving fast… I’m like, ‘Sh-t, I don’t need another condo in Puerto Vallarta.' But the reason I bought this was an investment… Ideally, I want to own the third place for at least two years. I’ll rent it out… I’m gonna decorate it really happy and fun.”

Teasing what the interior of the two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo is like, Vicki said, "It’s very fancy."

"So I’m gonna rent that out for two years. Then I’m gonna see how it goes," she continued. "If no one destroys it, then I’m gonna sell it."

Vicki Gunvalson shares update on relationship with Michael Smith

Throughout all her recent changes, Vicki has had her boyfriend by her side. "It’s been a busy weekend closing on my newest property in Puerto Vallarta,” Vicki wrote on Instagram on October 26, before thanking her boyfriend, Michael Smith, for his support. “So thankful for [Michael] and all the support he continues to do for me. He’s my biggest cheerleader and always is willing to be there for me. At this time in my life, it’s so nice to have someone that I can count on. Thank you Mike.”
