Venita Opens Up on Relationship With Jarrett "JT" Thomas: “Wild to Say, But..."
In a first look at the Southern Charm Season 10 premiere, Venita Aspen gets candid about her strong bond with Jarrett "JT" Thomas.
The trailer for Season 10 of Southern Charm sparked romance rumors for Venita Aspen and Jarrett "JT" Thomas, and a newly-released preview of the premiere episode is sure to cause even more speculation.
In the first-look clip, Venita's helping JT shop for something to wear to the upcoming Carolina Cup. As she puts it, "We gotta get something cute."
Then, in a confessional interview, she explains how she and JT came to be such close friends.
"The first time JT and I bonded was when we were in Jamaica," Venita reveals, making a reference to the Season 9 cast trip. "Ever since then, we talk every day, which is kind of wild to say. But I feel like we're just really close."
Back in the clothing store, JT tries on a suit jacket, and Venita tells him, "Ooh, that looks yummy on you."
"Yummy! Did you just call me yummy?" JT replies, to which Venita says, "I mean, yeah. You look nice."
In a confessional of his own, JT gives his take on their bond.
"You can't teach chemistry. It's either there or it's not," he says. "And it's there."
Are Venita and JT dating?
It's not exactly clear just yet, but Season 10 of Southern Charm promises to explore Venita and JT's blossoming bond. Venita's official BravoTV.com bio even notes, "After breaking up with boyfriend Manny last year, Venita realizes that she and JT have an undeniable attraction and connection that goes deeper than most. She starts to question her feelings toward him amidst preserving her own friendships with those he may not be on the best terms with."
JT's bio, meanwhile, reads, "JT continues to be an outspoken rabble-rouser, stirring up controversy wherever he goes. Despite his best intentions, his rapport with many in the group starts to go up in flames. However, Venita turns out to be his constant and offers a shoulder to lean on as he tries to mend friendships."
What else to expect on Southern Charm Season 10
A press release for Season 10 of Southern Charm teases a "new era" for the cast as they celebrate "a decade of sipping and spilling sweet tea along the Charleston social scene."
"The Charmers find themselves at a crossroads of familiar feuds and redefined boundaries," the release continues. "Once Charleston’s rowdiest, the group appears committed to business, family and health, but growing pains are inevitable as fractures in their newfound life plans are quick to surface."
When does Southern Charm Season 10 premiere?
Season 10 of Southern Charm kicks off Thursday, Dec. 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
