New SUR Hostess Billie Lee Shares Why She Still Has a Soft Spot for Jax Taylor Amid His Drama with Brittany Cartwright
The new Vanderpump Rules pal has a lot of sympathy for the bartender.
Jax Taylor's friendships may be on the rocks this season of Vanderpump Rules in the wake of the news that he cheated on girlfriend Brittany Cartwright. However, Jax has at least one person in his corner: the newest SURver, Billie Lee.
Vanderpump Rules fans saw Jax and Billie Lee share a sweet moment during SUR's Pride festivities in Monday night's episode (clip above). Though Billie Lee recently told E! News that she understands "why so many people are mad at Jax" because Brittany "deserves the world," she also explained why she didn't let that stop her from striking up a friendship with the bartender. "When I started at SUR they were going through their whole drama and him cheating and I felt like everyone was so mean to him," she said. "I didn't really know him and I'm the kind of person if someone's in the doghouse I want to go and pet the dog, give him a little bone and just say hi...I just wanted to inspire him and not be mean to him."
As we know, it's not always peace and love at SUR. Billie Lee teased that she had "some drama" with Stassi Schroeder this season. "Sometimes I don't know the vibe, I'm like, is she for real?" she told E! News. "Sometimes I think she's a little judgmental."
But we may see some love bloom for Billie Lee this season. "There are so many hot guys at SUR and I'm like, ‘Who's available?!'" she teased. "You see me dating. I definitely like a couple of guys there and I really, really find one of them really great."
One thing is for sure: Billie Lee is already inspiring everyone SUR and all those watching Vanderpump Rules at home with her journey to self-acceptance as a trans woman, which you can learn more about in the video, above.
