Does Lala Kent Think James Kennedy and Ally Lewber Are the "Real Deal"?
Plus, see what advice Lala had to share with James' girlfriend in the April 5 episode of Vanderpump Rules.
A lot went down on the April 5 episode of Vanderpump Rules, but one of the calmer moments came courtesy of Lala Kent and James Kennedy's girlfriend, Ally Lewber. Now, Lala's revealing whether or not she sees a future for the couple.
"I think only time will tell if they are the real deal," Lala told E! News in March, but with an important caveat. "I'm also very wounded. I don't like men. I don't like love... I'm done with it."
At least that's currently the case. "Give me a little bit longer to heal," she added.
Plus, regardless of her opinion about Ally and James as a couple, Lala made it clear on the latest Vanderpump Rules that she's rooting for Ally herself.
The two shared a conversation at Scheana Shay's bachelorette party after James had stirred up drama during the previous evening's wedding festivities and eventually caused Ally to storm off. As a result, Lala wanted to check in with the Season 10 newcomer — and issue a kind-hearted warning based on her own past relationships. "Just based off of what I've dealt with, you can wake up one day and go, 'Who the f--k am I? What happened to my life?' and I don't want that to happen to you," she told Ally. "I really like you. I want you to always maintain your power."
Ally began to explain that she "love[s] James, prompting Lala to respond, "I know you do. [But] last night was relatively tame compared to what you could see in the future."
"You have to be able to tune him out," she added, "and remember that you're not responsible for the way he acts."
Lala then further reflected on her past relationships in a confessional. "You could be the smartest bitch in the world, but when you fall under someone like James, it's almost like you're in this whirlwind of life, and once you come out of it, you go, 'How the f--k did this happen to me?'" she said. "When you're in it, all the red flags in the world flying at you, and you are tunnel vision because this person is amazing at creating the illusion."
The conversation with Ally ended on a positive note, with Lala telling her she has her whole life ahead of her.
