The Vanderpump Rules cast member is officially set to compete on Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars. Professional dancer Derek Hough, who is a judge on the series, confirmed the news on Instagram on July 7 by sharing a video with Ariana at her sandwich shop, Something About Her.

Ariana Madix’s Reaction to Her Exciting Career News
After Derek confirmed the news on social media, Ariana left a sweet comment underneath the post. The Bravolebrity expressed her mixed emotions about participating on the show. “[I’m] beyond grateful, excited, and nervous all rolled into one!” she wrote, adding a mirror ball emoji. “[A]bsolutely thrilled!”
The Vanderpump Rules Cast Member’s Life Lately
In March 2023, after the cameras initially went down on Vanderpump Rules Season 10, Ariana learned that her boyfriend of more than nine years, Tom Sandoval, had been engaging in a months-long affair with Raquel Leviss.
Filming picked back up again in the days that followed, and Ariana’s raw reactions and the fallout from the affair were featured on the Season 10 finale and the three-part reunion special.
Since Part 3 of the reunion aired on June 7, Ariana has been keeping busy. She celebrated her 38th birthday on June 24 with her brother, Jeremy Madix, and pals Scheana Shay, Brock Davies, Katie Maloney, and Dayna Kathan. The man in her life, Daniel Wai, cooked a feast for the crew, and the group commemorated the occasion with a cake and a night out afterward.
In addition to a meaningful birthday bash and her dancing news, Ariana has something else exciting in the works.
During a recent chat with BravoTV.com, Ariana’s business partner, Katie, shared an update on when Something About Her will open.
“I mean, we’ve finished the inside interior of the sandwich shop, so we’re getting very close to opening,” Katie said. “It feels like that’s a pretty big update for Something About Her.”
Though Katie didn’t want to provide an exact opening date, she continued to tease that the sandwich shop will be open sooner rather than later.
“I don’t want to say how close we are because I don’t want to jinx it, but [we’re] very close to opening,” Ariana’s close pal continued. “That’s my plan — sandwiches.”
