Tom Schwartz Shared a Special Letter He Wrote to Lisa Vanderpump As He Celebrates Wedding Anniversary to Katie Maloney-Schwartz
We aren't crying, you are, as we look back on the Vanderpump Rules wedding.
Two years have gone by so fast! It's been exactly 24 months since Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz wed in front of family and friends (and us all, really!). And to celebrate the sweet Vanderpump Rules nuptials (all the details on the day in the video, above), Tom just revealed a draft of the letter he wrote to Lisa Vanderpump requesting she preside over their big day, just in time for his anniversary with Katie.
Among the reasons why the couple chose Lisa, who is ordained for just these kinds of occasions, for the special role in their big day, as they previously shared with Martha Stewart Weddings back in 2016, "Lisa's someone who's been close to us and supportive in our relationship," Katie said at the time. Tom added, "It was kind of our idea, but it was my dream. We don't have our families in the city, at least most of us. She's like our mother figure; she's our mom in L.A."
Katie later told The Daily Dish: "I mean she was our first and only choice to officiate. We're not really religious people ... and knowing that Lisa was ordained and she's been a huge supporter and advice-giver for us for so many years now, it felt special and memorable and personal for us to have her be the one. There's no one else, not even Jax, that came to mind for that moment and just having it be someone that knew us personally and our journey and all that was important to us."

That wedding not only made things official between Tom and Katie, but also laid the groundwork for Tom Tom, as it was at the reception that Lisa proposed the idea of going into business together with Schwartz and Tom Sandoval to the guys (clip below).
Cue to 2018 and the hotspot has since opened just this month in Los Angeles to much fanfare and is quickly becoming a go-to hangout for Bravo stars from all walks of life.
Clearly a lot can change in just two short years! Congrats to everyone!
