Todd Bradley Reacts to Bronwyn Newport Sharing His Past Infidelity
Bronwyn Newport also clarified how her husband Todd was unfaithful.
On Season 5, Episode 14 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Bronwyn Newport confessed that her husband, Todd Bradley, had previously been unfaithful. Fast-forward to the December 18 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and both Bronwyn and Todd shed new light on the matter.
For starters, Bronwyn revealed that while Todd hasn't watched the episode yet, she made sure to tell him what was said. "We've talked it out, he knows all about it," she explained. "He knew in Puerto Vallarta, I called him from Puerto Vallarta, but there [are] some things you just don't want to see."
Todd — who was in the WWHL audience — was later asked how he feels about being on RHOSLC himself. "I'm not sure I can quantify that, Andy," Todd joked. "It's a low number."
That said, Todd did agree that he doesn't always come across well. "We talked about it at the reunion, and I said I probably did appear to be too harsh," he said of his various Season 5 appearances.
Bronwyn Newport sets the record straight on her marriage to Todd Bradley
After facing criticism from the other snowflake holders on RHOSLC Season 5, Bronwyn explained on WWHL why her dynamic with Todd might seem strange on the show.
"I think two things are happening here. One, so much of what is really special and wonderful between Todd and I, he wants to be private, so I knew that was never being filmed for the show," she explained. "And then also, I wanted to just go on the show and be myself. I can be a little sarcastic, I just kind of put everything out there."
"I’ve learned that honesty is the best policy until you’re on reality TV," Bronwyn continued. "I just think it’s a little bit jarring. Everyone wants to look happy and perfect on TV and I’m like, ‘Well, there are some days that Todd drives me crazy.' Like, I don't know what to tell you."
Did Todd Bradley cheat on Bronwyn Newport?
Bronwyn explained on WWHL that Todd did not physically cheat on her. She also noted that the two got over the infidelity "pretty quickly."
"A lot of it was a misunderstanding, we have different boundaries," she said. "Todd never did anything physical with anybody, it wasn’t this big affair. It was really I was uncomfortable with how much he was talking to somebody who was very flirty with him. What I was trying to tell the ladies that night is I’m insecure. I take things really personally, it’s hard for me. I wish I hadn’t.”
The clarification came after Bronwyn told her castmates on RHOSLC, "A couple of years ago, we were on a trip and he was texting someone on his iPad and [my daughter] Gwen went to say something to him and Gwen saw it over his shoulder. So, Gwen came to me, and I confronted Todd."
