Throwback Thursday: Golnesa Gharachedaghi, Persian Princess
The Shahs of Sunset star even had a chic fashion sense as a child.
Ever wonder what our Bravolebs looked like before they were Bravolebs? Each Thursday, we'll celebrate #TBT and dig through the archives for a vintage photo from the past—or revisit a memorable moment from one of our shows—and share some back story on the picture. This week, we re-visit a vintage photo of Golnesa Gharachedaghi.
Long before she rocked her signature hair extensions, in this adorable childhood photo the Shahs of Sunset firecracker is seen sporting stylish Persian headwear.
GG was raised in a wealthy, nominally Muslim family. Growing up she attended Jewish day care, Catholic preschool and eventually, Loyola Marymount University. While season 1 found the self proclaimed Daddy’s Girl unemployed and relying on her father to support her lifestyle, nowadays her entrepreneurial spirit is thriving.

From our #TBT photo to her stylish presence on Shahs, it’s not surprising that GG has turned her eye for beauty and fashion into a business with her own line of hair extensions, GG’s Extensions.
"Things are going amazing with GG's Extensions. We have gotten a tremendous response to the product line and it's very exciting to see something like that come together. We took the product to meet with fashion and beauty editors in New York and it was very well received,” she said recently.
