The Six Most OMG Moments From the 'RHOC' 100th

The violation of "Girl Code," how fame has affected the Housekids and more from last night's special.

By Camille Beckles

The 100th episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County took us down memory lane, and we loved every minute of it. From how filming the show affected the lives of the Housekids to Tamra's infamous pool party, here are the six most jaw-dropping moments from the reunion.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

1: President Obama: Housewives Fan?
Is the leader of the free world a secret Housewives fanatic? During the special, President Obama was shown in a clip giving a speech where he mentioned our reality series. "You're competing against young people in Beijing and Bangalor. They're not watching Real Housewives!" OK...so it wasn't a total love fest from the Prez, but good to know the show is on his mind!

2. Gretchen: Slade's Sloppy Thirds!
Slade Smiley has been making the rounds through the OC ‘wives since Season One: he dated Jo, then Lauri. Now that he’s engaged to Gretchen Rossi, Jo is claiming that "Girl Code" has been violated. Apparently Jo wasn't the only one who wondered if Gretchen should feel a little strange about her relationship with Slade. How could we forget Andy’s bold question during one reunion, when he asked Gretchen, “Is there something in you that feels weird about getting [Slade’s] sloppy thirds?”

3. An Awful Economy Is Awful For Housewives, Too
When the economy crashed, some ‘Wives found themselves having to downsize their once fabulous lifestyles because, as Vicki Gunvalson said, "People lived beyond their means in Orange County." That includes Jeana, who admitted, “I went from six cars to one car." And who could forget when Lynne and Frank’s daughter Raquel was served their eviction notice? “It was the worst day of my life,” Lynne recounted. Viewers responded surprisingly well when the economy crashed, because, as Andy Cohen noted, “They actually related even more seeing what was really going on.” The economic downturn was proof that, as fabulous as they are, the ‘wives are still human.

4. Tamra's Wine-Throwing Incident: Premeditated!
It’s bad enough that Tamra threw wine in Jeana’s face at the now-infamous pool party, but what we didn’t know was that it was a premeditated move. “I was talking to one of my girlfriends and I said, ‘If [Jeana] pisses me off I’m just gonna throw wine in her face.’” The moral of the story: don’t cross Ms. Barney (or should we say Mrs. Judge?).

5. The Housekids Suffered From the Spotlight
The Housewives may be the center of the show, but the show took a toll on the housekids as well. “It was definitely not the best time for us to be on camera,” said Jeana’s daughter Kara, who admitted that the show negatively affected her relationship with her mom. “I think people talked to strangers kinder than I spoke to my own family, and I regret that.” Living out their teenage years in front of the camera was tough for the kids, but despite the drama, they have turned out just fine. “I’m really proud of myself because the show has made me who I am today,” said Tamra’s son Ryan. “I’m able to look back on my experiences on camera and change myself for the better.”

6. Andy's Hair: Always Stylin'!
We’ve obsessed over Andy’s hair before, but in our wholly objective opinion, we loved seeing how his 'do evolved over the years.
