RHOP Producer Reveals Why One Housewife Interview Came to an Abrupt End
"I think we should just stop today. We’re good for today," executive producer Kemar Bassaragh recalled.
There's always plenty of drama when the Housewives get together, but it's the interviews where all the gossip, shade, and emotion really goes down.
Executive producer of The Real Housewives of Potomac Kemar Bassaragh is one of the people responsible for bringing us those iconic interview moments, sitting down with the ladies to ask all those hard-hitting questions throughout the season. Bassaragh recently spilled all of his interview secrets while chatting with The Daily Dish podcast's Megan Segura, which you can check out in the above preview exclusive to Bravo Insider.
One of the things Bassaragh notes is that it's important to keep the ladies' spirits up during what can be very long interview sessions. "So, just get them comfortable with their favorite snacks, favorite drinks," Bassaragh explained. "And you can talk to them for hours."
Champagne is the most popular drink among the Potomac Housewives, according to Bassaragh, although he once recalled a time when one of the ladies may have had a few too many sips during their in-depth conversation, resulting in a change of plans for production.
Find out what came of that interview, as well as the ladies’ drinks and snacks of choice, when producers decide to break the fourth wall, and what it was like to shock Gizelle Bryant with info about her BFF Robyn Dixon in the clip above. Bassaragh reveals even more behind-the-scenes intel on RHOP and breaks down the current jaw-dropping season when the full interview drops on The Daily Dish podcast in October. Find it wherever you get your podcasts.
