A Judge Has Granted Luann de Lesseps a Plea Deal

Luann de Lesseps can finally close the chapter on her court case.
A Palm Beach County, Florida judge accepted Luann's plea deal stemming from her Christmas Eve arrest on Wednesday, according to court documents obtained by Page Six. Luann agreed to plead guilty to battery, trespassing, and disorderly intoxication in exchange for the felony charge against her to be reduced.
Per the plea deal, she will perform 50 hours of community service with at least 10 hours per month, attend two Alcoholics Anonymous meetings a week in New York, and attend a Mothers Against Drunk Driving victim impact class.
She also cannot use drugs or alcohol and will be required to submit to random testing throughout her year-long probation.
Luann was also required to write an apology letter to Deputy Steven O'Leary, which she has reportedly already completed, according to PEOPLE.
Luann was arrested in Palm Beach on Christmas Eve last year on charges of battery on an officer, disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest with violence, and crimes against a person. The Real Housewives of New York City mom was then taken to Palm Beach County Jail where she spent the night.
Luann checked herself into an alcohol treatment center at the end of December 2017 where she spent 21 days. We followed Luann on her journey this season of RHONY, watching her practice yoga, spend time with friends, and prepare for her cabaret show during her recovery.
Luann returned to rehab in July, citing some recent family drama as one of the reasons for her relapse. She resumed her cabaret shows after leaving rehab in August. "I feel great. I feel like I have more experience with the whole thing so I learned more, you always learn more and the second time around I learned a lot more about myself and it was very eye-opening and enlightening and spiritual and all of those things," she said of her second time in rehab during an interview with E! News earlier this month. "I've realized that drinking doesn't work for me anymore; it just doesn't."
Luann recently announced on Instagram that she will be moving back to New York City.
