Siggy Flicker Defends Calling The Real Housewives of New Jersey Cake Fight "Trashy"
"I stand by my words."
Siggy Flicker was not amused by Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga's playful cake fight featured on this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. No, the RHONJ relationship expert was not having any of the food fight (with the cake she had made for Melissa) at all — and yes, she's still not happy about it.
Siggy made her current feelings about the situation crystal clear on Instagram Wednesday, which included a defense of her comments that Melissa acted like "trash." "You want to have a food fight!!! Let’s go!!! But when someone puts their heart and soul for another person and spends all day to create something to touch that persons heart and soul & it ends up on the floor disregarded, I am allowed to call that act trashy," she wrote in the post. "I shouldn’t have to walk on eggshells! I stand by my words. I respect the person who made the cake. I also waited tables @officialtgifridays for over 7 years and I know what it means to clean someone’s mess!!!"
The RHONJ mom went on to say why it may seem like she hasn't been able to move on from the drama to fans. "The whole cake thing could have ended if anyone would have made an attempt or gesture to acknowledge my feelings. Relationships are a two way street," she explained. "What’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong!"
Siggy joked on Twitter that perhaps she brought the wrong dessert entirely.
She also proudly wears her "Soggy Flicker" nickname given to her by RHONJ newbie Margaret Josephs because of how she tends to wear her emotions on her sleeve.
Relive how Siggy initially reacted to Margaret's moniker for her, below.
