The Morning After: <i>Double</i> Take

"We're professional seducers." That's how Markus Klinko described the photography duo that is he and business partner Indrani last night on the series premiere of Double Exposure. Markus and Indrani have a way with the talent that we haven't quite figured out yet, but we think it might have something to do with their yin and yang like qualities. The two balance each other out just enough to tackle some stunning photos. That is, if and when they don't tackle each other first.

During an empowering (read: sexy) Women's Health photo shoot with Eve, Markus lashed out at Indrani when a random photographer started taking pictures of his shot. Needing some coaching from the rest of the crew, Markus finally resolved the issue and everyone was able to move forward with the shoot.

It's obvious that having Indrani around is an important piece to this photog's puzzle. But it's a surprise that someone so needy would give Indrani any credit. (Oh wait, he hadn't been until just recently.) Indrani doesn't seem to mind too much. She gives herself credit doesn't let Markus' mood swings take away from her work.

At the fashion shoot at the Frank Lloyd Wright house in Los Angeles the two worked together to persuade their model to stand out on a ledge despite her fear of heights. It was an urgent moment, but they got the shot.

So what was with that heated discussion over mis-matched hotel room sizes? If you sensed the tension, yes, Markus and Indrani were an item once, but now they're just best friends and business partners. Neither would have it any other way. Their chemistry may have died off behind closed doors, but it seems to have found its way to the lens of that billion year old camera of Markus'.
