The Countess's Advice for Lindsay Lohan: Don't be a Joke
LuAnn says LiLo can only blame herself for Glee's jab.
Charges and accusations from prosecutors are one thing, but a jab from a Gleek? Don't. Go. There.
Lindsay Lohan was crushed when Glee writers made her the butt of a recent joke, and now the Countess LuAnn de Lesseps is offering some simple advice for the offended (and troubled) starlet: don't hand them easy material.
It all started when Gwyneth Paltrow made her McKinley High debut as a wacky substitute Spanish teacher, and told her class, "Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right? How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?" One famous viewer wasn't too pleased.
"Lindsay was watching it while in Betty Ford," Lindsay's mom Dina Lohan told RadarOnline. "Then she called me and was upset and said, 'Why did she have to do that?'"
Countess LuAnn -- who's lobbying for a guest role of her own rubbing elbows next to Rachel Berry and Sue Sylvester — gives LiLo some straightforward advice. Don't steal a necklace from a jewelry store? That could have been helpful for the troubled starlet, but no. "Don't behave in ways that make you great material for comedy writers," the Real Housewives of New York City star writes in her column for OK! Magazine.
"Although Lindsay got press attention by saying how upset she was by the scene, it was her behavior in the first place that created the opportunity for the lines to be written into this episode," LuAnn continues.
