Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga & RHONJ Cast Speculate on Future: "No Going Back"
See how the RHONJ cast is really feeling after the Season 14 finale.
The Season 14 finale of The Real Housewives of New Jersey was shocking for everyone involved, and while the cast is set to reconvene at the same exact restaurant for the first time to watch and react to everything that went down as part of a special episode dubbed "Off the Rails" — airing Sunday, August 11 — several Garden State ladies also pondered the future of their friend group in exclusive interviews with BravoTV.com (which you can watch at the top of this post).
As Rachel Fuda put it, "I mean, it's really the multi-million dollar question — where do we go from here?" she began.
"I don't know," she continued in her May interview. "I don't know if there can be a next chapter with this group of women. I just don't know that it exists in this world."
Jackie Goldschneider agreed, stating in her May interview, "I don't think the group, as it is, goes anywhere from here."
The same went for Danielle Cabral, who said in May, "What was done this year, there's no going back. There isn't. Last year, I was like, 'Yeahhh, we can all get back.' This year? No."
Teresa Giudice, meanwhile, was critical of the group's complicated dynamic. As she put it in her July interview, "[RHONJ]'s a show about women getting along and not, like, cutting people out, and teams. Like, who does that? That's so high school-ish."
Jennifer Fessler had a more optimistic viewpoint, though. "You can see underneath all the madness, there is a love," she said in her June interview. "You can almost feel it, you can see it, and so it's so nice at the end when you see women getting back together. But it makes me sad that that is not in the cards for, I think, most of this cast."
Ultimately, Melissa Gorga was seemingly the most content with the way things shook out. "That's what life is about to me: It's just about being happy and enjoying it with good friends and good people, and keeping people around you that really wish well for you and want to see you thrive and want to see you do well," she explained in her May interview. "I've learned — and it might've taken me into my 40s to learn — that if someone doesn't wish you well and someone doesn't clap for you or want the best for you, then it's time to remove them from your life. And I'm okay with that."
