You Need to See Andy Cohen's Reaction to Teresa Giudice Gifting Vibrators on RHONJ
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member's explanation definitely amused the WWHL host.
After some drama early on in Season 11 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider finally came face-to-face as the couples' trip to the Jersey Shore kicked off in the March 24 episode. And Teresa actually came bearing gifts.
Teresa explained earlier in the episode that her ex-husband Joe Giudice "got into the business of sex toys," which he then asked her to be a part of. So, Teresa decided to bring some of those wares on the Jersey Shore trip to give to all of the RHONJ ladies, including Jackie.
Unfortunately, things quickly went south when, during the gift exchange, Teresa referenced a comment Jackie had made to Melissa Gorga about the "olive branch" Teresa had extended when she invited Jackie to the pool party at her house.
Jackie reflected on the moment during The Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show, which you can view, above. "I knew that she came to fight, and I was just not in the mood for it," she said. "If she had given it to me and been like, 'Here's my olive branch,' then I would have thought it was really cute. But the way that she gave it to me, I was over her at that point. I just wanted nothing to do with her."
Teresa also explained her thought process behind giving the vibrator gift in the episode, as well as during the RHONJ After Show. She provided even more clarity during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on March 24, and the titular host assured her that viewers would understand where she was coming from with the gift.
"I do just want to say, Teresa, you're very concerned that that joke didn't land on the show," Andy Cohen said during the WWHL After Show on March 24. "But it not only landed on the episode of Jersey tonight, but it landed when you said it on the episode of Watch What Happens Live, and you've now landed it on the After Show."
Teresa was glad to hear that she got her point across. "OK, good," she said. "I just wanted to make sure it's out there clearly."
Andy couldn't help but gush, "Teresa, I got to tell you something. I love talking to you. It's so much fun."
