The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum celebrated the 16th anniversary of her first meeting with Edwin by taking to her Instagram feed to share three throwback photos of the estranged spouses.

"[Sixteen] years ago me and [Edwin Arroyave] met. I will forever be grateful for that night at Coco Deville," she wrote in the caption of her December 26 post about Edwin, who she married in 2011. "I would never have known I wanted kids until meeting my amazing stepdaughter, Isabella [Arroyave]."

Teddi went on to thank her ex for their three children, Slate Arroyave, Cruz Arroyave, and Dove Arroyave.

"My love for [Isabella] changed my life and [five] years later came Slate, then Cruz, and then our miracle baby Dove in 2020. I may be far from perfect but being a mother has been the greatest gift you could have given me," she continued. "Thank you always and forever."

Inside Teddi Mellencamp's first Christmas without her kids and Edwin Arroyave

Teddi filed for divorce from Edwin in November 2024, and she spent the holidays by herself. On Christmas Day, Teddi posted a selfie of her doing a face mask, and she posted an Instagram Story of herself hanging out by the pool at Kyle Richards' house (which is where she is currently living).

She shared a video of her lip syncing to Celine Dion's "All By Myself" on her Instagram feed as well.

"In my Bridget Jones era. If I didn’t laugh at myself, I would cry," she started out in her post. "First Christmas without my kids, and I know they’re in great hands with an amazing dad, but that doesn’t mean I can’t feel some type of way."

She went on to describe what she did for the day instead, which included her ordering "$74 of Thai food, eating cookie dough (who has time to bake)" and watching nine episodes of a show.

"To all my parents out there going through this, I love you," she concluded. "What are all the tips for powering through?"

Teddi's new roommate Kyle, commented, "Ted! Also, watching you do this in my bedroom is making me LOL[.] Love you xx."

Why are Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave getting divorced?

Teddi announced her split from the businessman on Instagram on November 2, and noted that she wanted to "protect [her] family from undue speculation and rumors."

Though Teddi didn't mention why the pair split up at the time, she provided insight into their separation on the November 13 episode of her podcast, Two Ts in a Pod

"And what I can say, which I'm trying very — there's multiple sides to every story," she said in reference to headlines about the split. "I'm not going to confirm or deny anything. But, there's many people involved. And I once again say the same statement I said before: The kids, they're the priority. And so for the time being, that's all I'm going to discuss on this."
