Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Shares a "Bittersweet" Update on Her Four Kids (PICS)
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum revealed what Bella, Slate, Cruz, and Dove have been up to lately.
It's back-to-school time, and the change in seasons has Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave feeling reflective. In a recent Instagram post, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared an update on her four kids and revealed her "bittersweet" feelings on it all.
Teddi and her husband, Edwin Arroyave, share three kids: Slate, Cruz, and Dove. Teddi is also the proud stepmom to Bella, who is Edwin's daughter from a previous relationship. The RHOBH alum has previously opened up about co-parenting Bella.
“From the moment I met Bella, I was changed in so many ways,” Teddi wrote in a July 14 Instagram post. “The instant love I had for her helped shape me into the mother and stepmother I am today. And while the growing pains of coparenting had its tough moments, nothing would break the love in my heart for her.”
In a more recent share, the California mom revealed what Bella has been up to these days, and dished on all her kids' latest interests.

In an August 29 post, Teddi shared a photo of all four kids on their first day of school. The little ones all lined up in front of Teddi's front door, holding signs. Meanwhile, Bella posed for her picture wearing a school uniform and simply clutching a cup.
In her caption, Teddi wrote: "They say Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. Is it really though? Back to school is bittersweet because while you are grateful you don’t have to answer 9 million questions a day, you miss them as soon as you drop them off."
Her post continued: "I don’t think their interests/goals will surprise you. Bella: Freshman, started a couple weeks ago, happy she’s at the age she doesn’t have to hold a sign. Slate: 5th grade, loves riding horses, wants to be a professional equestrian. Cruz: 3rd grade, loves football, wants to be a pro NFL player. Dove: preschool, loves Jake Paul, wants to be a boss (as if she isn’t already) and a boxer."
Teddi also shared an update on herself. "Not shown: Mom, midlife, loves back-to-school, wants to learn how to write legibly and retire young," she quipped. "Who else is excited school’s back in session?"
Oh, and if you're wondering how little Dove became interested in the pro boxer Jake Paul, Teddi filled followers in. After someone commented: "Jake Paul?! Did she watch the Netflix documentary?" Teddi wrote: "Accidentally! I thought she was asleep."
