Taylor Ann Green and Gaston Rojas Are Preparing for Their "Next Steps"
The Southern Charm cast member also revealed her and her boyfriend's holiday plans.
Taylor Ann Green says she and Gaston Rojas are still going strong.
The Southern Charm-er opened up about her relationship in a newly published interview with People magazine, revealing she and her boyfriend were already “talking about [their] next steps.” Although Taylor didn’t provide details on those discussions, she did shed more light on her and Gaston’s dynamic.
Taylor reveals what separates Gaston from her previous boyfriends
“Every decision that he makes, I’m priority,” Taylor told the outlet. “I take precedence and I’m always like, ‘I really appreciate that. I want you to do what you want to do. But I appreciate that because I’ve never had that in any of my relationships.’ It’s nice to have that feeling like I’m important in his life.”
Taylor also revealed Gaston had hosted Thanksgiving for their respective families and planned to join her in Florida for Christmas.
Taylor responds to Shep Rose's claims about her family and relationship
The interview was published just days after the Southern Charm Season 10, Episode 2 premiere, in which Taylor’s ex-boyfriend, Shep Rose, made eyebrow-raising comments about Gaston and Taylor’s family.
“I know that her mom and dad wish she was still with me,” he said in a confessional. “And her grandfather and grandmother, and her whole family.”
Taylor immediately took to Instagram to address Shep’s claim.
“Let me shout from the mountain tops that both my parents, my grandparents, and yes, even my recently late grandfather all couldn’t be happier that I’ve moved on and am in a much better, happier, and healthier relationship,” she wrote. “So this comment. SENDS ME. What planet do you live on, bro? You cheated on me 4 times (that I know of), and you think my family wishes I was still with you? DELUSIONAL.”
Taylor weighs in on Shep's love life: "I just don't think..."
Season 10 also found Shep reflecting on his new relationship with former beauty queen Sienna Miller. Although the Southern Charm-er said he was “looking forward” to starting a family someday, Taylor told People she was skeptical of that claim.
“I think he’s very nostalgic when it comes to the idea of wanting to settle down or have a life partner, someone you trust and your best friend,” she explained. “I just don’t think that he’s capable of that. But if he does find that one day, that’s great. I hope the best for him. I’m glad it’s not me.”
Taylor said her breakup with Shep was quite “taxing on [her] end,” and left her “very hurt and broken”; however, she insisted she was “happy” about the way everything played out because she’s found herself in a much “better place.”
