Taylor Ann Green Sheds New Light on “Accidental” Relationship with Gaston Rojas
Plus, Shep Rose revealed how he feels about Taylor's new love in this Southern Charm preview.
Taylor Ann Green is moving on romantically in Season 10 of Southern Charm, calling her new relationship “night and day” from dating Shep Rose.
Taylor and her new flame, Gaston Rojas, had been dating for seven months in the preview for Southern Charm, Episode 2, which you can watch above. They met through Gaston’s roommate, Southern Hospitality cast member and Republic bartender TJ Dinch. Taylor shared more details on how they began dating in the preview clip.
“We were friends, and then we went on an accidental date,” Taylor said in her confessional. “My friend ended up backing out very last minute, so it was just me and Gaston. I was a little nervous, but four hours later, he asked if he could kiss me. And I said, ‘Yes.’”

Taylor pointed out more differences in her new relationship, calling Gaston “sexually inclined.” She also hinted at a future, revealing, “My parents have asked me if we’ve talked about marriage.”
But Shep is not optimistic that Taylor and her boyfriend will last.
“I know that her mom and dad wish she was still with me,” he said in his confessional. “And her grandfather and grandmother, and her whole family.”
When asked by producers his opinion of Taylor’s new boyfriend, Shep responded, “He kind of looks like a villain from The Borne Identity. I can see him screwing on a silencer and like breaking into a room.”
But Taylor insisted the two are more compatible than she and Shep were.
“Gaston and I, we’re similar in age,” she said, pointing out at the time of filming, she was 29 and he was 31. “Our relationship feels more like a partnership. Gaston really makes me feel like I am good enough and that’s different for me.”

Since then, Taylor and Gaston have remained steady: She celebrated her 30th birthday on a romantic vacation in Jamaica with Gaston, and he recently cooked Italian dinner for her, as she posted in her Instagram Stories.
Shortly after their relationship began, Taylor told The Daily Dish she felt “happy and confident” with him.
“I’m just looking for a best friend — somebody to do life with, laugh, have a good time [with], and [not] take life too seriously,” she said. “Each day should be a gift. That’s what I wanted, and just to share it with somebody.”

Taylor hinted that she’s putting up firm walls with Shep and Austen Kroll, with whom she had a previous flirtation, in Season 10.
“She’s dedicated to setting boundaries — from friendships to past flames — so that nothing can threaten her newfound happiness,” according to her Bravo bio.
