Take LuAnn's Advice for Finding Love
Hit the hardware store. Pronto!
The Real Housewives of New York's LuAnn de Lesseps knows how lucky she is to have landed beau Jacques Azoulay -- and now she's passing along some advice on how to make luck work for you.
"When I finally met Jacques, I was open to meeting new people and I had a positive attitude about life," the mother of two tells HollywoodLife.com about bouncing back from her divorce to French nobleman Count Alexandre de Lesseps in 2009.
"To meet a great guy like [Jacques], you have to think that every time you leave your house — whether you are going to the market, church, or the hardware store (always a great place) — that you might meet the man of your dreams," the "Money Can't Buy You Class" singer adds. Word to the wise, ladies: Stop running errands in your pajamas.
And get a new hobby? "Being interested is what makes you interesting, so why not take an art or cooking class or volunteer for a cause you care about? This way, you'll meet a man who enjoys doing the same things as you and with whom you have some sort of connection," the Countess says while continuing to play Cupid. "Stay positive and you'll be surprised how many great guys are attracted to you."
