Tabatha's 4 Biggest Business Mistakes

Tabatha Coffey's been taking over everything in sight on Season 4 of Tabatha Takes Over, and she's beginning to see a pattern. Tabatha talked to The Hollywood Reporter about her the biggest mistakes a business owner can make.

So what's the most obvious sign that a place is in trouble?  Uh, dirt. She said, "It's the first thing that's in your face [...] I think that says a lot about the pride that people take in the business."

Tabatha also thinks lack of leadership is major (but not in a fun, Rachel Zoe-ish kind of way), observing, "Sometimes, they check out because everything gets so overwhelming. They don't know how to deal with it, so they kind of check out of their business and they’re not really present in it – either physically or mentally – and then they're not running it."

Tabs added, "You need to have a good product. I don't care what business it is, you have to have a good product."

Finally, Tabatha thinks you have such a pretty face, would it kill you to smile every once in a while? She explains, "It's a customer service industry, you have to be nice to people. And it's free. It's easy to smile at someone, it's easy to acknowledge them, it's easy to ask how their day is. And that's for any business."
