Sutton Stracke Reveals What Big Plans She & Her Ex-Husband "Have Talked About" (EXCLUSIVE)
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member might be buying property in London after conversations with her ex-husband, Christian Stracke.
London could be calling Sutton Stracke's name, very soon. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member currently lives in a stunning, $5.35M home in Bel-Air, where she has resided since 2021. While Sutton's home means so much to her (more on that later), she told The Daily Dish that she could be expanding her real estate portfolio to London sometime soon given her ex-husband Christian Stracke's connection to the English city.
Sutton's ex-husband Christian, a businessman whom she divorced since 2016, currently lives in London. Their three kids — sons Philip and James and daughter, Porter — frequently visit him, with James spending some time there this summer. This has caused Sutton to "talk" with Christian about getting a place there to make things easier for co-parenting.
"My ex-husband and I have talked about it," she said. "It might be nice if I had a flat in London so I could go to London and the kids can meet there."
Sutton continued, noting that the kids "love London." So, having a space there would help "take the burden" off of him when they travel. "You know, it's taxing for him," she said. "I would be doing him a favor to get a flat in London, you know."
Sutton Stracke says Christian's move to London has been hard
Sutton spoke to People in July where she admitted that having her children spend time in London is hard because she is so close to them. "My ex-husband moved to London and it's harder than anticipated," she said.
During RHOBH Season 13, Sutton admitted that she was scared of Christian moving to London because she knew that her ex could "dictate whether [she] move[d]" to London. "I went through my whole marriage being dictated," she admitted during Part 2 of the RHOBH Season 13 reunion.
But, she stood her ground with the businessman. "I went to him and said, 'I am not moving to London. James is not moving to London. We're staying here,'" she said during the reunion. "It took me so much courage to do that."
What Sutton Stracke's Bel-Air House Means to Her
Sutton showed off her 4 bathroom, 5 bedroom house after it underwent extensive renovations during RHOBH Season 11, Episode 15. In the episode, she explained why the house holds so much more significance to her than just being a place for her to live.
"I personally was kind of a shell of a person after my divorce was announced, and ended up at the finish line with a new house and a new Bentley and great friends and living my best life," she explained during the episode. "This house kind of represents my independence as a single woman. This is a house that I'm gonna live in when my children are gone. I think that this is just so symbolic to me."
