Sutton Admits Her Ex-Husband & Son Relocating to London Is "Harder Than Anticipated"

Sutton Stracke is navigating a new chapter in her life — and it's one that involves two of her family members living across the pond.
As Sutton shared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, her ex-husband, Christian Stracke, was planning to move to London for a job opportunity. Though Sutton and her ex have been divorced since 2016, she had relied on him for friendship and support in the years following their split (especially since they lived very close to one another).
During a chat with PEOPLE at her Sutton Green Label fashion show, Sutton opened up about what it's been like for her since her ex-husband officially relocated.
"My ex-husband moved to London and it's harder than anticipated," she told the outlet, noting that her son, James, has also been there as well (the exes also share daughter Porter and son Philip together).
"He'll be home any day now, but it's funny because my son and I are really close, " she continued. "We spend every day and every night together, but it's been fun and you work things out and so everything's good."

Sutton Stracke detailed her ex-husband's move on the RHOBH Season 13 reunion
While discussing her behavior at the group trip to the Magic Mike Live show in Las Vegas on Part 2 of the RHOBH Season 13 reunion, Sutton explained that she had just found out about her ex's move.
"[Christian] had told me that day that he was moving to London, and James, my son, was moving to London, and I was moving to London," Sutton shared on the reunion. "And this man gets what he wants."
Reunion host Andy Cohen asked The Sutton Concept owner how Christian could "dictate whether [she] move[d] to London.
"I went through my whole marriage being dictated," Sutton said.
Andy pointed out that she was "not married to him anymore."
"No, but see, when you're trained like that..." she retorted.
Though Sutton's initial reaction was to oblige to her ex's request, she later told him that she would not be moving.
"I went to him and said, 'I am not moving to London. James is not moving to London. We're staying here," she said on the reunion. "It took so much courage for me to do that."
Who is Sutton Stracke’s ex-husband?
The diamond holder was married to businessman Christian Stracke from 2000 to 2016.
Sutton and Christian knew each other when they were kids, and Sutton was the one who initiated their split.
"I was the one that asked Christian to get out of the house," Sutton said during the RHOBH After Show, noting that their issues would "turn into World War III" if they continued living together.
While Sutton hoped that the two could go to therapy together, she said that Christian filed for divorce the day after she asked him to leave the house.
