Stephanie Hollman Reveals Why Last Year’s Super Bowl Was “Not My Best Moment”
The RHOD cast member looked back on an awkward moment she had in 2020.
When Super Bowl Sunday comes around, most football fans celebrate the day by enjoying delicious snacks and buzzing about the epic commercials. But this year, Stephanie Hollman is recognizing the popular sporting event in her own special way: by reliving an embarrassing moment.
In a February 7 post, The Real Housewives of Dallas cast member took to Instagram to share a hilarious—albeit slightly cringeworthy—moment she experienced during last year’s big game. Stephanie uploaded a few throwback photos of Super Bowl Sundays from her past, including last year’s celebration, in which she and her husband, Travis, traveled to Miami to watch the game with cast member Brandi Redmond and her husband, Bryan. She also shared a few photos from six years ago, when she attended the Super Bowl in 2015.
“Happy Super Bowl Sunday. Throwback of last year’s Super Bowl in Miami with [Brandi Redmond] and Bryan and some pics of Super Bowl in 2015 with [Travis Hollman],” Stephanie captioned her post. “I know nothing about football. When I met Dan Marino at a Super Bowl party (swipe to see pic) I told him how much I liked him in Ace Ventura Pet Detective — not my best moment.”
For those who also identify more strongly as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective fans than football enthusiasts, here’s some context: Former Miami Dolphins quarterback and Hall of Famer Dan Marino appeared in the legendary Jim Carrey movie back in 1994.
