Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke Are Engaged: "I'm Still in Shock!"
"I was so surprised," Summer House's Lindsay Hubbard said of her engagement to Carl Radke.
Summer House couple Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke are ready to take things to the next level. The pair confirmed they are engaged in an interview with PEOPLE on Sunday, August 28.
"I was so surprised, I'm still in shock!" Lindsay told the publication about the proposal, which took place in the Hamptons on Saturday, August 27. Carl added, "It was quite the whirlwind throwing off Lindsay. She's a tough one to catch off guard!" It was also confirmed that their engagement was filmed for the new season of Summer House.
The longtime friends, who previously tried to pursue a romantic relationship with one another, confirmed they were officially dating earlier this year and went Instagram official shortly after that. They found their way back to one another during Season 6 of Summer House (clip above).
Carl and Lindsay later moved in with one another earlier this summer ("5 more days until we move in together and then he can’t get rid of me!" she joked at the time), and, well, now it seems like they're ready to start their next chapter together, and Lindsay opened up more to PEOPLE about what's next for the pair now that they are engaged.
"I am very much of the mindset of, whichever way the universe wants to go with our timeline, I'll follow," she said. "I threw my own timelines out the door, they do not exist. Whether a wedding or marriage comes first or a baby, it doesn't matter. This is my life partner; we want all the same things together."
In addition to getting engaged, it's been a busy summer for Carl and Lindsay, who have shared their many adventures together with their followers, including when Carl posted the sweetest message for Lindsay timed to her birthday earlier this month.
"Happy Birthday Lindsay Dale Hubbard. These are some of my favorite moments from the last 9 [plus] months of traveling, laughing, eating and enjoying each other’s crazy lives. Your smile says it all! You continue to amaze me with your strength and growth," he wrote. "This is gonna be your best year yet! I love you."
