Leva Bonaparte is a "Hot Mess" After Seeing This Adorable Photo of Her Son
The Southern Charm newcomer is crushed by how quickly her son, Little, is growing up.
Leva Bonaparte is sharing some very relatable mama feelings. The Southern Charm newcomer recently posted an adorable throwback of her son, Lamar Jr. Named after her husband, the Bonapartes have nicknamed the tot “Little,” though he’s now much bigger than he was in the heart-warming picture Leva just shared.
“My phone just sent me this (new iOS update?) now I’m a hot mess,” the proud Charleston mom wrote alongside the super cute selfie of her and her son. She also added the hashtag “babies don’t keep.” In response to a follower who wrote, “Precious,” Leva added, “He is growing up so fast!”
When asked to explain how her son got his nickname on the November 14 episode of The Daily Dish podcast, Leva shared the ultra-cute story behind Little’s moniker.
“He’s named after his father, and his father is named after his father, and so it’s very Southern. His nickname is Little. We came home from the hospital, and his dad was like, ‘OK, so, I’m Lamar and you’re Lamar. But I’m big, and you’re little.’ And he just kept saying that. He was like, ‘I’m Big Lamar and you’re Little Lamar.’ And so it was funny, because he’s never been a little baby. He was off the charts. He’s always been like, way bigger than the norm,” she said. “He’s actually quite big. He looks like a 4-and-a-half year-old, and he’s only 2 and a half. I think he’s literally gonna be like a grown huge man, bigger than me, and I’m gonna be like, come here, Little.”
In a November 25 Instagram post, Leva shared a glimpse at what Little looks like, now. He's definitely bigger than he was as a baby, but he's still just as cute!

While everyone has different family structures and traditions, spending time with the people we love can make the holidays special. The holidays will look different this year, but we at NBCUniversal believe that Family is Universal. Which is why we’re partnering with Walmart, Verizon, and Progressive in support of Feeding America® and No Kid Hungry, to support families across the country when it matters most.
