Cameran Eubanks Has Decided to Stop Breastfeeding Her Baby Daughter
Find out why the Southern Charm mom is "DONE" with breastfeeding and ready for formula.
Cameran Eubanks has always been one to keep it real, especially when it comes to the experience of becoming a parent for the first time. In particular, the Southern Charm mom has been honest about the challenges that have come with breastfeeding her newborn.
Cameran recently took to Instagram to share that she has decided to stop breastfeeding her 2-month-old baby daughter, Palmer Corrine Wimberly, and start feeding her with formula instead. "Today marks the day I am DONE with breastfeeding. Gave it a good almost 3 months and I am retiring the boobs. Writing this in hopes it will make other mothers feel less alone," Cameran shared. "You see, I'm not quitting because my milk supply dried up or because I'm sick...I'm quitting because I'm just plain OVER IT. By CHOICE."
She went on to acknowledge that this decision may be a controversial one, but it's the best one for her and her daughter. "I know I will get lectured and judged by this but it doesn't bother me. I need some freedom back for my sanity and the bottle and formula will allow that," she said. "You are NOT a bad mother if you don't like breastfeeding. A happy Mama is the best gift you can give your baby. (At least in my opinion.)."
Cameran has been open about the ups (like her adorable baby girl) and the downs of parenting since she gave birth to Palmer on November 11, 2017.
