Savannah's Daniel Eichholz Reveals What He *Really* Thinks of the Southern Charm Crew
The #SouthernCharmSAV pal weighs in on all the major Charleston drama.
The Charleston and Savannah worlds collided as Southern Charm's Shep Rose, Thomas Ravenel, and Austen Kroll met up with Southern Charm Savannah's Daniel Eichholz, Lyle Mackenzie, Louis Oswald, Catherine Cooper, and Hannah Pearson in Charlotte as the two crews escaped Hurricane Matthew. Since these squads are known for their drama as much as their fun, we weren't sure what would go down during this hangout. We mean, the Southern Charm Savannah ladies and gents are not afraid to throw a little shade the Charleston folks' way, after all.
But we're happy to confirm that this get-together was just as awesome as it looked on TV. "Shep was really fun. Austen was a great time. We had a great time hanging out. It was so good to meet him," Daniel recently gushed to The Daily Dish. "I just enjoyed kicking it with them."
Daniel said that Shep was the only Southern Charm pal that he had met previously, and he got to know Austen and Thomas for the first time during that trip. But that doesn't mean Daniel hasn't kept up with all of the happenings in Charleston, especially when it comes to all of the drama surrounding Thomas and Kathryn C. Dennis. "It kinda looks like it would be very hard to be them. You know, they seem like they’ve been going through a lot, lots of ups and downs with their relationship, and it’s been on TV, so I could only imagine how much more stressful and harder that makes it," Daniel said of the Charmers' relationship. "So I mean, the only thing I’ve thought about before is how I respect them for being able to do this and do what they’ve done on television, because I couldn’t imagine how hard that would be."
In this season of Southern Charm in particular, Thomas' dating life has been a major topic of conversation, but Daniel said he thinks the gent shouldn't be pressured into making a decision when it comes to who he'll be spending the rest of his life with. "I think Thomas should take his time," Daniel said. "I think Thomas should, you know, do what he needs to do to find what’s going to make him happy."
