Southern Charm matriarch Patricia Altschul is busy planning the upcoming nuptials between her dog, Peaches, and Shep Rose’s dog, Lil Craig, but it’s who else is supposed to stand at the altar on that fateful day that will likely have everyone buzzing.
As it turns out, former flames Austen Kroll and Madison LeCroy have been enlisted to stand beside the doggie duo as a groomsman and a bridesmaid (we mean, yeah, sure, why not?). And Shep and Whitney Sudler-Smith, of course, have a little laugh about it, as you can see in the above first look at the August 15 episode.
From there, the longtime friends have a conversation about their own love lives and discuss whether a wedding or two could be in their own futures, because, according to Whitney, “Mom thinks neither me nor you will be getting married anytime soon.”

Elsewhere in the first look, Kathryn Dennis, Taylor Ann Green, and Olivia Flowers meet up to talk about the dog wedding. One of them isn’t invited, as it turns out, and Olivia shares she might attend the nuptials with someone other than Austen. More on that above.
