Sonja Morgan Admits That She Was "Nervous" For Her Daughter Quincy To Do This
The Real Housewives of New York City alum opened up about her 23-year-old daughter's "very tricky" predicament.
Sonja Morgan's daughter, Quincy Morgan, has always made her mother proud. However, there is one decision Quincy made relatively recently that had Sonja walking on eggshells, and The Real Housewives of New York City alum opened up about it during an interview.
When chatting with Yahoo! News, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip cast member said: "When [Quincy] went public with Instagram [in 2021], we discussed it together because she is behind the scenes, working in finance, and it's very tricky to know how to navigate Instagram," the protective mom said. "I think she learned that from me."
Sonja continued: "People know me as the boozy floozy on the show, have a good time, keep the peace if you can. I do get dramatic, but usually it's self-deprecating, or in defense of someone else. My daughter is a Libra and she's basically a diplomat."

"I was nervous about the Instagram thing, but she's handling it really well," Sonja continued. "She actually gets booked by fashion brands to do appearances at their stores. She does a look of the day, she graduated [from the University of Pennsylvania] summa cum laude. ... She's been a straight-A student since 18 months. She couldn't walk at 18 months, but she could boss us around. ... Constantly reading books."
After Quincy got her diploma from the prestigious university, she chatted with The Philadelphia Inquirer about her next steps and whether she planed to become a full-time social media influencer.
Though Quincy has a sizable Instagram following, she had also accepted a position in the finance department of an entertainment company. “I would never want to quit my day job," she said at the time. "I don’t think content creation is my passion. I think I’m passionate about the people who follow me,” Quincy explained, adding that she thinks the appeal of her page is that she’s “just dressing well.”

Quincy's fabulous fashion is certainly part of her appeal on social media, but she also does a fab impression of her mama. Back in 2021, shortly after going public on Instagram, the finance pro paid tribute to Sonja on Mother's Day. She hilariously recreated some of her mom's most iconic moments, including lying in bed with a tiara on.
More recently, over Thanksgiving break in Virginia, Quincy took to TikTok to share updates on her mom. One post showed Sonja working out in a cashmere set, while another update showed Sonja and Quincy joking about their tight mother-daughter relationship. In another post, Quincy showed off her outfit for "putzing around making Thanksgiving dinner" with her mom and other family members.
