Sounds Like That RHONY Hamptons Party Was Even More Bizarre Than We Saw on TV
Luann de Lesseps gave the scoop on the "awkward" Real Housewives of New York City bash.
We don't know about you, but we're kind of feeling a vicarious hangover after watching that wild house party in the April 16 episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. The bash had it all: Ramona Singer on a swing, the ladies bowling in high heels, and Sonja Morgan sharing a TMI tidbit about her down-there grooming habits.
New RHONY gal Leah McSweeney quickly summed up the vibe of the party right when the Big Apple bunch entered the building. "This is not the type of party I'm used to going to. It's seriously some weird Eyes Wide Shut s--t," she said in an interview during the episode. "People are gonna start putting on goat masks, and I'm gonna end up being taken in a back room and being made to be someone's bitch."
So, was the soirée really as "weird" as it seemed? In short, yes, according to Luann de Lesseps, who gave us the inside scoop on the shindig during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home on April 16 (clip above). "It was so awkward," Luann said with a laugh. "And, you know, for me it was really tough because, I don't know, it was very kind of superficial, and I just felt so disconnected. And I wasn't drinking, so it was majorly difficult."
Sonja seemed to be particularly partying hard that night, but we haven't seen anything yet, according to Luann. "But as far as Sonja goes, that's just the beginning," she teased on WWHL: @ Home. "Wait until you see Halloween!"
Luann also agreed with Sonja's assessment that Ramona treats the RHONY ladies differently when she's around her other friends, as she demonstrated at this party as well. "It felt like, who are these people?" Luann said during the WWHL: @ Home After Show. "I've never seen Ramona really around these people."
Not going to lie, we still would have loved to have scored an invite.
