Shereé Whitfield Has the Sweetest Message for Son Kairo: "So Proud"
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member celebrates her son, Kairo Whitfield, as he turns 27.
Shereé Whitfield’s son, Kairo Whitfield, just celebrated another trip around the sun! And in honor of his special day, The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member took to social media to share a heartwarming tribute that had us all emotional.
Shereé Whitfield Pens Sweet Message to Kairo Whitfield
On July 2, Shereé posted a carousel of photos on Instagram featuring her son Kairo over the years. Among them was a cute snapshot of Kairo dressed up as a pirate when he was a toddler. The mother of three also included a maternity picture of herself while she was pregnant with the birthday boy.
“Happy Birthday Son!! I love [you] more than [you] can imagine,” Shereé captioned the post. “May GOD continue to guide [you], give [you] peace, keep [you] safe and give [you] joy…for always! I’m so proud of the man you have become.”
Shereé asked her followers to join in wishing her son a happy birthday, showing that a mother's love is limitless. Taking to her comments to show Kairo some love was fellow peach holder Marlo Hampton and The Real Housewives of New York City alum Eboni K. Williams. Marlo wrote “Happy Birthday Young King,” while Eboni commented two red heart emojis.
Kairo also took to Shereé’s comments to thank his mom and her followers for the warm birthday wishes, writing, “Appreciate all the love.”

Kairo becoming a year older isn’t the only exciting thing that's happened to him lately. Back in March, it was announced that the 27-year-old became a father as he welcomed a baby girl into the family.
In May, during an interview with Essence, Shereé opened up about what it’s like for her new chapter as a “glamma” and praised Kairo’s parenting skills.
“I didn’t plan on being a Glamma this early. But I’m so, so happy she’s here. I mean, me and my family have always been very close and loving, but she brings another element of love and closeness to my family. She is incredible.”
Shereé went on to give Kairo his praise for stepping into his new role as a dad. “You know, you guys saw Kairo when I think we first got on the show. He was maybe 8 or 10 or something like that. And here we are, Kairo’s a dad, and he’s a great dad, and I’m so proud of him for that,” she told Essence.
Fans were introduced to Shereé’s granddaughter, Mecca Joie, on Season 15 Episode 2 of RHOA, which aired on May 14, when a cute picture of her appeared on-screen. In Episode 6 of Season 15 of RHOA, Kairo; his girlfriend, Alina; and their daughter, Mecca, made a joint appearance on the show.
