Shep Rose Reveals His "Fancy" Home Renovation Plans: "One Day Soon..."
The Southern Charm cast member has an impressive upgrade idea for his Isle of Palms home.
Shep Rose's Isle of Palms home never fails to impress us, as you can watch in the video above. Even with its functional furnishings, the Southern Charm cast member still has a few plans for changing things up.
"The house...it's not very big, not a lot of bells and whistles," Shep states in the above video tour. "I think one day soon I'll probably tear it down and build up a fancy house, but I don't need that right now. I'm gonna be smart [and] fiscally conservative. [I'll] keep my powder dry, as my father likes to say."
Though Shep may have a more "fancy" home in mind for the future, he still has plenty to work with in the home, including a beautiful open-concept kitchen and a spacious, serene bedroom.
Shep Rose Reveals the Surprising Place He Sleeps at Home
Elsewhere in the above home tour, Shep revealed that though he loves his upgraded bedroom, he rarely sleeps in there.
"I spend a lot of time on the couch. That's my bed, essentially, right there," Shep shared of his cozy-looking gray sectional sofa.
In October 2023, Shep and his Southern Charm castmates told BravoTV.com about their spending habits. In the video, Shep revealed he didn't prioritize high-quality bedding, also noting how he rarely sleeps in his bed.
“Thread count, don’t care,” he stated during the sitdown. “I sleep on the couch mostly.”
Moreover, Shep claimed he spends no more than $20 on haircuts and also keeps things "fiscally conservative" at the grocery store, as well. “I usually get extra toasty Cheez-Its and a case of beer. It’s pretty caveman,” he laughed.
Shep Rose May Buy a House Out West
Though Shep is still living cozy at his Isle of Palms beachside pad, he revealed to BravoTV.com last year that he may be also “looking at houses out West.”
“In Montana, Wyoming. Colorado. I did a tour of out West,” Shep said at the time. “I ended up having a hell of a lot of fun... seeing some real estate, meeting some cool people. But the interest rates, the mortgage rates, it’s just. Crazy. It’s not the right time. Not now. But I do love out West. I do love Montana, and fishing and hunting and stuff.”
