Shep Rose Says Craig Conover Took His Drama with Austen Kroll to a "Dark Level"
Yes, these #SouthernCharm gents are still butting heads.
It finally happened. After a season full of tension so thick, you could cut it with a knife, Shep Rose and Austen Kroll's drama came to a head during Monday night's episode of Southern Charm as the two bickered about each of their intentions with Chelsea Meissner.
Austen was particularly upset about a comment that Shep made while they were in Charlotte with Thomas Ravenel, suggesting that the Southern Charm newbie wasn't good enough for Chelsea because he doesn't have enough money. Shep later explained the comment on Twitter during the episode Monday night, saying that he was "playfully ribbing him" and that he didn't mean it.
But it seemed as though Shep actually took the most issue with Craig's behavior during the spat. Craig called Shep out for trying to hook up with his girlfriend Naomie Olindo and said that he won't be the only friend that happens to. "I'm not very pleased with Craig's vitriolic comments," Shep tweeted. "Say what you will about me and Craig. But he took it to a dark level there."
Craig responded to Shep's tweet during his appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Monday night, and sorry, he's not sorry. "I'm kind of just a straight shooter, and I was over their bullcrap," Craig said about Shep and Austen's beef. "Look, everyone has a way to explain what they did, but anytime you try to hook up with your friend's girlfriend, there wasn't much I could do for him."
Shep isn't the only Southern Charm pal that Craig isn't feeling so much today. Find out why the Southern Charm gent says he has distanced himself from some of the group, below.
