Shannon Storms Beador (and Archie) Have Feelings as Her Daughter Heads to Paris
The RHOC mom shared a heartfelt message as her daughter Stella headed overseas for college.
It’s official. Shannon Storms Beador is an empty-nester.
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom touched on her new life chapter in an August 25 Instagram post that documented her daughter Stella’s final moments at home. The recent high school graduate was accepted to the University of Southern California this year, but will kick off her undergrad studies in Paris as part of the school’s transfer program.

Although Shannon insisted she was happy for her daughter, she confessed it was a bittersweet moment — not only for her, but also for the family dog, Archie
“And so the empty nesting begins,” Shannon captioned the Instagram, which showed her daughter’s emotional goodbye. “Stella is officially off to Paris. Archie and I are incredibly sad. Archie and Stella have a special bond and he keeps going into Stella’s room to look for her. I am so proud of my girls and beyond excited to see where they are going, but these first few days are extremely hard!!!”
Shannon took to Instagram several hours later to share a tear-jerking update on her furry family member: "Archie sitting outside waiting for the girls to come home...," she captioned a photo of the somber-looking dog.
Stella Beador's twin sister, Adeline, is studying in New York City
The post was shared just a week after Stella's twin sister, Adeline, traveled across the country to begin her college journey. The OC daughter said farewell to the West Coast and hello to the Big Apple, where she will attend Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. Shannon provided an inside look at her daughter’s sendoff in an August 17 Instagram post. The carousel included photos and videos of Adeline saying goodbye to Stella and Archie as she prepared to board a flight to New York City.
“Today is a very emotional day,” the mother-of-three wrote. “I am headed to NYC with Adeline to take her to school. The twins will not see each other until Christmas break and are going to miss each other beyond! Their bond is so precious! I am so excited to watch my girls move on to the next chapter of their lives but I am definitely going to be shedding a lot of tears in the next week!”

Shannon returned to the ‘Gram several days later to provide an update on Adeline’s time in Manhattan. The OC mom posted photos of her and her daughter enjoying a meal TAO along with some friends.
“Adeline is loving NYC!” Shannon captioned the August 22 carousel.
The OC daughter responded to the post with the heart and raising hands emojis.
