Shannon Beador Has a Fiery Response to Vicki Gunvalson's Brooks Ayers Interview: "There Were So Many Lies"
The women of #RHOC had a lot to say about their castmate's revealing one-on-one.
Vicki Gunvalson sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live Monday night to give her side of the story regarding ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers, since it was revealed that he had not been treated at City of Hope and admitted to fabricating medical documents. Vicki's defense of Brooks throughout the season caused many of her castmates on The Real Housewives of Orange County to question her honesty and friendship. Similarly, they weren't happy with how Vicki presented her side of the story on WWHL.
In particular, Shannon Beador had an incredibly passionate response to Vicki's appearance on WWHL. She posted an emotional 10-minute video on Facebook following the interview. "I have to say, I'm so frickin' done talking about the Vicki-Brooks cancer lie nonsense," Shannon said in the video below, which has some strong language. "I am absolutely floored. The victim card, the I was duped speaking engagement that Vicki Gunvalson is on is completely ridiculous to me."
Shannon called out Vicki for making it seem like she didn't know the exact date of Brooks' cancer diagnosis and telling different stories about whether or not she was with her ex-boyfriend while she said he received treatment at City of Hope. "There were so many lies on Watch What Happens Live, even tonight," Shannon said. "These lies are so blatant, and I get so frickin' irritated about it because I came on the show this season and talked about something that I didn't want to talk about it, but it was my truth and my reality, and this woman fabricated something way prior to filming."
Shannon also had a message for her haters who accuse her of belaboring the point. "I'm not gonna sit back," Shannon said. "You guys can all hate me, and you can say I'm bitter, but I'm not. I have my own life, and I'm done talking about her."
Even though Vicki expressed remorse for her actions on RHOC this season, Shannon still wasn't buying it. "Vicki says 'I'm sorry, I love Shannon,' all this nonsense," Shannon said in the video. "Let me tell you, my phone has not rung once. I have received zero apology. It's all for the cameras. It's all for the cameras. No apologies yet. No remorse still. It's a joke. It's a joke when I hear her tell Andy Cohen that she feels bad with what I personally went through with her."
Ultimately, Shannon said she doesn't feel like she can forgive Vicki, as Vicki said about Brooks during her interview with Mario Lopez on Extra, before ending the video by criticizing Vicki for her dishonesty again. "When I sit there and watch a 30-minute episode, which is a bunch of bullsh**, you're going to hear about it from me," Shannon said. "She knew what was going on, and she knew what was going on way before filming started."
Shannon's RHOC castmates also didn't keep quiet about Vicki's WWHL interview. Meghan King Edmonds tweeted that she felt like Vicki was still being disingenuous during her interview on WWHL.
However, Meghan made it clear that she sympathized with Vicki losing her mother on the show this year amid all of the drama with Brooks.
It looks like Heather Dubrow and Tamra Judge's reactions to Vicki's interview are still to come.
However, Vicki does have the support of some cast members from other Real Housewives series.
