Porsha Williams has been peacefully protesting in Atlanta to support the Black Lives Matter movement since May 29, alongside a group of friends and family members include her sister, Lauren, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta pal, Shamea Morton. Over the course of the protests, Shamea has been sharing powerful footage with her Instagram followers.

In a June 7 post, Shamea shared a series of photos and videos, showcasing a few of the signs and chants from Sunday’s protest. She captioned the post with a number of hashtags, including #BlackLivesMatter, #NoMoreSilence, #NoJusticeNoPeace and #PeacefulProtest. In one image, Shamea is holding a sign that reads “No More Silence” and wearing a shirt that says, “You have the right to remain alive.”

Earlier that day, Shamea posted a recording of a nearly nine minute-long speech Porsha made at the protest, in which she spoke out against police brutality, and urged the crowd to research local politicians before voting. You can hear Porsha’s call to action in the video, below.

On June 4, Shamea posted a photo captioned, “All 4 have been charged. It’s progress. We still have a long way to go!” in reference to the Minneapolis officers who have now been charged in George Floyd’s death. Shamea carried a sign that read, “No justice, no peace,” and included the names of 32 Black people who have died.

A May 29 post gave a look at the first day of the protests, which Shamea attended in a group including Lauren and Porsha. “Earlier today when we were peacefully protesting,” she wrote.
