Reza Farahan and Destiney Rose Know Exactly the Kind of Mom Mercedes "MJ" Javid Will Be
Reza said he hopes to "hear a lot more exciting news coming out of the Javid-Feight household."
Mercedes "MJ" Javid is reportedly pregnant with her first child, but don't expect a confirmation of the big news from her BFF Reza Farahan, no matter how hard you try to pry it out of him, as The Daily Dish did when he visited our HQ in New York City on Tuesday, October 9 with Destiney Rose. "Well, listen, MJ has a problem keeping it real. MJ is still vacillating and denying that we had sex, so trying to nail down the fact whether or not she's pregnant, who knows?" he told The Daily Dish. "I hope the rumors are true. I hope she's pregnant. I want to be an uncle again. But I think we're gonna have to keep waiting a tiny bit to see if she starts showing."
Destiney added that she can't wait for MJ to become a mom, whenever that day comes. "I'm excited," she gushed during an interview with The Daily Dish. "She's gonna make an amazing mom. Either way, when this happens, she's gonna be an amazing mom."
Though MJ hasn't exactly had the warmest maternal figure growing up with mom Vida, Reza said that he has a feeling his friend will be better able to express her motherly love. "When you have a mom like Vida, there's two routes. You're not gonna be a mediocre mom. You're either gonna be a monster mommy or an amazing mommy," he explained. "And I think she decided a long time ago, monster mommy is coming to an end after Vida's reign was over."
Not only will MJ's little one with husband Tommy Feight be "so stylish," according to Destiney, but also Reza said that he or she will be the "loudest kid on the planet." MJ and Tommy aren't exactly the quietest couple around, after all.
MJ previously confirmed during an interview on Jeff Lewis Live in July that she was undergoing IVF in order to make her dreams of starting a family a reality. "I'm really proud of her for the IVF process because you have to do mock cycles. They have to get you ready. She's had to do a couple surgeries along the way," Reza said. "It's been a long, hard road, so I pray to God that the end result for MJ and Tommy is a positive one."
Destiney shared that she gained a newfound respect for MJ for putting her body through the difficult process of IVF. "I know that she has asked me a few times to help her out with those shots. And needles, I just don't do well with that stuff. Bless her heart," she said. "Her hormones were everywhere. So one moment it was like, 'Hey.' And then the next moment was, 'Get out of my face!' So the amount of pressure and the process that she goes through when she's doing this whole thing is super intense. People don't really realize."
Luckily, MJ has had a strong support system in her adoring husband Tommy, whom she wed on April 21, along the way. "There's nothing more beautiful than for you to see your friend that you love dearly in a place of happiness and true love," Destiney gushed. "Like that is just mind-blowing because you don't really get to see that often, you don't."
Reza shared that he also admires how MJ has handled it all in a year that has included her father's passing, her wedding, and possibly some baby news in the future. "I'm really proud of her. I'm really inspired by her. To see her handle her dad's passing and just kind of come through it the way she did, really, really inspirational. And then to get married and now hopefully be expecting, it's like, there was a huge negative, but everything else has been super positive in their lives," Reza shared. "And I hope they just stay on that positive train and we hear a lot more exciting news coming out of the Javid-Feight household."
MJ and Tommy's wedding day is getting closer this season of Shahs of Sunset. We'll check in on how wedding planning is going in an all-new episode Thursday at 9/8c. Check out a preview, below.
